Jagabandhu Jarashram was inaugurated on 19.07.2007 by Sri Zamil Ahmed Khan, IAS, Collector, Dhenkanal; Tahasildar Bhuban Sri Kurtibas Rout, SDMO, Kamakshyanagar Dr Nilakantha Parida, Advocate and Journalist of The Barta Sri Alekh Tripathy & MDSM Secretary Sri Pradip Sahoo; Forest Ranger Sri Amiya Mohanty, Khageswar Sahoo, Ex-President of Bhuban SCS & Working President of Jagabandhu Jarashram Presided over the meeting. Secretary of the organisation Sri Ashutosh Mishra welcome and thanked to the guests, where as the members of Jagabandhu Jarashram coordinated and arranged the programme. In the occasion 15nos. of plants have been planted and collected 21 units of blood from blood donors.

Our Vision

Jagabandhu Jarashram strives to establish anegalitarian society where there will not be anydiscrimination on the ground of caste, class, colour, creed, race, region, religion and sex. It envisages a self-reliant society where the process of development will be on a parallel basis, not horizontally. In short the closest model that the organisation strives to achieve is the Gram Swaraja of Gandhiji in self-sufficient village unit.

Our Mission

The Mission of the organization is to assure socioeconomic justice to the underprivileged sections of the society through different developmental activities. To bring about a qualitative change of these people in particular, PRAYAS strives to assure health, education and livelihood for all. PRAYAS strives to act as a catalyst for better community organization, resource mobilization, idea initiation and capacity building of the community at the grass roots level.

During COVID-19



Some Social Work in COVID -19...(During 1st week of March to 25th june 2020) in DHENKANAL , JAJPUR & DEOGARH District, ODISHA (Tribal areas, & Rural communities)Awareness Campaign, Distribution of Mask, Sanitaizer, Dry Food Distribution among the needy (Tribal Community,Senior Citizens, Disabled people, ) Some 2500 Mask & 750 nos of Dry food packets were distributed.

Childrens Day



Childrens Day was celebrated by Jarashram on Dt. 14.11.2009 by distribution free health check-up camp at ward No- 2 and which was presided by District Collector,Dhenkanal, BDO ,Bhuban and Medical officer, Bhuban.
